Coca‑Cola HBC is an active member of the community in each of the 29 countries in which it operates.

As an active community member we are highly engaged in the lives and livelihoods of our local communities. 

Improving quality of life and investing in local communities is at the heart of our company’s social responsibility. Our core business activities help us create new and exciting jobs for a local workforce, pay taxes that support local economies and support local community projects that address environmental and social issues. We partner with stakeholders and local communities to address issues and support their sustainable development.

Our community investment programmes focus on water stewardship and environmental initiatives, community wellbeing and youth development.

Water stewardship

As part of our water stewardship strategy we partner with governmental and non-governmental organisations to support sustainable water resource management and sustainable practices of water users.

On September 24, 2025, a new initiative aimed at improving the irrigation system in the Mayakovski settlement of the Abovyan community in Kotayk region was launched. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Coca‑Cola HBC Armenia, the “Shen” Charitable Public Organization, and the Abovyan Municipality marked the official start of the program. The goal of rehabilitating the irrigation network in the Mayakovski settlement is to conserve drinking water through improvements to the irrigation system.

Youth development

Unemployment among young people remains a significant challenge in many of Coca‑Cola HBC's markets. In Armenia, we offer internships. Currently we are developing educational programmes to empower underprivileged young people by providing skills training and access to funding.

Our Corporate Volunteer programme

When you want to change the world for the better, start with yourself. We give our people the opportunity to help those who need it the most, encouraging them to invest their time in the things that inspire a better future.

In 2025, during the New Year holidays, our employees once again came together as part of the “The World Needs Many Santas” New Year volunteer initiative to support children from socially vulnerable families. The initiative continues to bring festive joy and warmth to children who need it the most.

Active lifestyles

We’ve partnered with Yerevan Street Workout for its "Be active, be healthy" programme and Repat Armenia for the Coca‑Cola Yerevan Half Marathon.  For several years, we've organised Coca‑Cola Cup football tournaments for local schools, working with the Armenian Football Federation.
