Hayanist community’s irrigation system has been reconstructed, rehabilitating more than 40 hectares of agricultural land. Thanks to the project, the flow of emigration from the community has dropped by 50-60%, and the life of the Hayanist community dweller has improved.
Hayanist community's irrigation system has been reconstructed, rehabilitating irrigation of more than 40 hectares of agricultural land. Hayanist is the first village, where irrigation of community land is being carried out using the returning water of nearby fish farms.

The ASPIRED project aimed at using water from fish farms for irrigation purposes in Hayanist community in 2017 has already shown results.
In 2016, Coca‑Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at improving water stewardship across Armenia, focusing on conservation and effective use and management of water resources in the Ararat valley through science, innovation and partnerships.
